"The possession of knowledge carries an ethical responsibility" Evaluate this claim.
I chose this question because, to me, ethics is one of the most interesting areas of knowledge in TOK. Other areas of knowledge that can be brought in are History (corrupt politicians) and the Natural Sciences (doctors who have knowledge to save people's lives but the don't necessarily like the person) I think the ways of knowing that could be brought in here are: mainly emotion and reason. Perception could be brought into it as well.
In what ways may disagreement aid the pursuit of knowledge in the natural and human sciences?
I chose this question because I enjoy the sciences. I also think that there would be a number of things that could be spoken about that pertain to this question. It is only through disagreement and questioning that we gain a better understanding of our world and our surroundings. The main ways of knowing involved are: perception and reason.
